And Cat Ba Island, formerly named The Pearl Island, is the largest one in Ha Long Bay vicinity, with 1354 square km of area. |

Day 1: Ha Noi - Ha Long (L/D)
AM: Pick up at your hotel at approx. 7:30-8:00 am. Leave for Halong. Short break in Ha Duong city (20 mins). Arrive in Halong at approx. 12:00.
PM: Get on boat to enjoy fantastic scenery of Ha Long bay. Eat lunch on boat. Visit Sung Sot cave the largest of Ha Long Bay. Continue cruising around Ha Long Bay to see the Stone dog Island, Cat Island, Fighting cock Island and Ti Top Island, as well as a traditional fishing village. Enjoy a Vietnamese seafood dinner. Spend a quiet night on the boat in a cabin suite.
Day 2: Cat Ba Discovery (B/L/D)
AM: Eat breakfast on boat, the boat is cruising to Gia Luan harbor, it is belong to Cat Ba Island and take a tour bus crossing to Cat Ba National park for approx 3-hour trek in the Park - home to 32 types of mammals and about 2000 species of flora. This includes a trek through the parks Chan Chau Forest to a scenic overlook. Explore Chan Chau cave and visit bat habitats. Return to hotel for the check in and lunch.
PM: Swimming at Cat Bas beautiful beaches, Cat Co1, Cat Co 2. Shopping and sightseeing around Cat Ba Town. Dinner at hotel in Cat Ba Town
Day 3: Cat Ba - Ha Long - Ha Noi (B/L)
AM: After breakfast, get on the bus crossing to National Park again, then get on the boat cruises on Ha Long bay and return to Ha Long City. On the way we will stop for swimming and taking pictures. Have lunch in restaurant in Ha Long.
PM: Return to Ha Noi, via Hai Duong city for short break. Arrive in Ha Noi. Tour finished. |
